Riding schools

The island of Re enjoys an environment with many woods where horse riding can be practiced pleasantly in several riding schools.

The following list of riding schools is not exhaustive.

Bois-Plage-en-Ré

• The "Haras des Hévières" has four horse training rings. Individual paddocks are available for horses. It is possible to take classes or to attend training courses and to ride on the beach.
• At Bois-Plage, the pony club "Les Gouillauds" allows a first contact with horse riding.

La Flotte-en-Ré

• In La Flotte-en-Ré, on the road leading to La Noue, the "Écuries du Moulin Moreau" have four training rings. In this riding school, horses and ponies can be accommodated.

• Equipassion, an equestrian center, organizes rides in the woods and courses.
• Horses can be accommodated by day or by month.

Saint-Clément des Baleines

The Pezoulet equestrian farm, "Ferme Équestre du Pezoulet", is a stable located in the north or Re Island in Saint-Clément des Baleines.

Sainte-Marie-de-Ré

At Sainte-Marie, horse riding in the woods is organized by "4 fers à l'air", through lessons and workshops.
