Surfing

At Bois-Plage-en-Ré, on Gros Jonc beach, and the Portes-en-Ré, on Lizay beach, Ré surf teaches surfing and bodyboarding to beginners and more proficients.

Kite-surfing on Re island

La Couarde

On Boutillon beach, west of La Couarde, Philovent school provides kite-surfing lessons for trainees of all levels. Sailing sessions are monitored from a safety boat.

Depending on wind direction, the club can also be based on Grouin beach at Loix.

Rivedoux-Plage

Rivekite is the kite-surfing school at the east of island of Re. Located in Rivedoux, it enjoys its two beaches orientated in opposite directions allowing to always get the best wind. The courses are organized taking into account the level of participants.

Scuba diving on island of Re

The nonprofit club Le Nautilus organizes dives from Saint-Martin-de-Ré for experienced divers.

This scuba diving club is run by volunteers. Its boat can carry eighteen divers in the safety conditions required for the exercise of this sport.
