Sailing clubs on the island of Ré

Most sailing clubs listed below also offer rental of windsurfs and catamarans.

Ars-en-Ré

The Nautical Club of Ars-en-Ré gives windsurfing lessons and sailing lessons on optimists and catamarans. Depending on the level of the participant, they take place in the basin of the club or in the Fier d'Ars.

Bois-Plage-en-Ré

• At Gros Jonc beach in Bois-Plage-en-Ré, Ile de Re Voile offers courses for all levels and all ages on catamaran, windsurf or fun board.
• Also located on this beach, the Cabane verte gives windsurfing and catamaran lessons.

La Couarde-sur-Mer

• At La Couarde's north beach, the Centre Nautique de Goisil gives initiation lessons on a basin and advanced lessons at sea for windsurfing and sailing on optimists and catamarans.
• On Peu Ragot beach, the sailing school Les Dauphins teaches optimist and catamaran courses for children and adults. A special attention is given to windsurfing and funboard in this school.
• At the plage des Prises, Ile de Re Nautique gives lessons for children, juniors and adults on windsurfs, catamarans and optimists.

La Flotte et Rivedoux

The CNPA is based in La Flotte-en-Ré and Rivedoux-Plage. Initiation and advanced sailing lessons are given on optimists, dinghies or catamarans, as well as windsurfing lessons. Training for the coastal license is also provided. At certain times of the year, it is possible to take sand-yachting lessons.

Loix

In Loix, the Ecole de Voile des Pertuis gives sailing courses on optimists and windsurfing lessons. It is also possible to enjoy a boat trip on a big catamaran.

Les Portes-en-Ré

In Les Portes-en-Ré, the Club Nautique teaches sailing with initiation lessons on optimists in a basin and advanced lessons on catamarans at sea.

Saint-Clément des Baleines

On La Conche beach in Saint-Clément des Baleines, the Nautical Club rents boats and windsurfs and gives private lessons.
